Hey I'm a guy and wanted to discuss this from a very long time. I have shaved my pubes in the past. But, what I dont like about it is that it really itches for a good 1-2 weeks when the hair is growing back. Is there any solution to it? or is it just that my skin is sensitive and will be fine after I start doing it regularly?

Thats why I don't. Cant handle that shit. I'll trim and do some landscaping but fuck shaving,. Fine by me if you don't wanna go down on it.
But yeah other than the everlasting fear of cutting open my nut sack, that's my reason.

Have yet to try waxing, though I think i might be down since I can tolerate pain.

 

Moisturize.

I used to use aquaphor after every shower but my wife didn't like the taste of it. Now I use vasaline. It works just the same.

Try a better razor too. You get what you pay for.

 

I was like that at first "You're gonna have to kill me before I take a razor anywhere near my balls!". Trim first and take it slow and preferably do it in the shower. Also, after you finish pat the area down softly don't go HAM (hard as a motherfucker) on it.

 

I'm just thinking there has to be a better way than that or I'd have to ask some dude "hey can I watch you shave your balls while you shower"? Because I'm literally petrified at the idea a razor near them.

If the doctor told me I needed mandatory surgery down there, I'd rather chose suicide because I'm that much of a pussy when it comes to needles, knives, & my balls/dick.

*side note* I used to have a friend who got addicted to heroine and told me he shaved to shoot up in his dick and balls sometimes. that's why I bring up needles.

 

I have heard you can use a cream to take away the hair but I could be wrong. Maybe you can get a woman to help.

I shave a couple times a week. When I do, I usually do it in the shower because the warm moist air helps to soften the hair. I also use a fairly fresh blade, since they are usually the best to shave with. For shaving cream, I use a product called Coochi. This product also helps keep the skin soft and rash free, and softens the regrowth.

It's always worse if you haven't shaved in a while. In my experience, the itching will lessen if you keep up the routine of shaving regularly. I agree with the comment regarding shaving with your hair rather than against the natural growth direction.

 

I used to shave smooth and for me the itching was never such a deal breaker, perhaps because by the time the hair was growing back it was time to say goodbye to it again. A good razor hot water and shaving home seemed to give a good finish. I stopped shaving completely because I wasnt sure I liked the look and used a trimmer for a long while but always used a razor for my balls.

Thing is you dont have to shave smooth an electric clipper set to the shortest length will give near the same look and probably get around the itch problem too

I Havent trimmed for a long time now so pretty damm hairy in that region these days

 

Use a non alcoholic shave cream, new5-6 blade razor. rub an aloe base cream to help itch.. also shaving regularly helps. Have your gf. do it for you.

What about a nono shaver for the boys?

 

A lot of money for a shaver. I read their faq's and they recommend not to use it on your genitals for your safety.
